patches: record what the first styled panel got wrong
Four defects that only showed up on the rendered page — a counter riding above the row, a focus ring on mouse clicks, a one-column tower, and the page's link vocabulary where the navbar's belonged — plus the dark fill being the theme's recessed tone, which made a floating menu read as a hole in the navbar. Written down because none of them were reachable by a test, and the next person to touch this will be reading rather than looking.
